Season of Awakening

Underground streams of ripening seeds bloom

from layers of Time and Readiness

Flowers and fruits, the stuff of stars

and souls in a state of becoming

For the light has changed

            and the ground is ploughed

 
For the spring...

                and shadows are in retreat
