Underground streams of ripening seeds bloom

from layers of Time and Readiness

Flowers and fruits, the stuff of stars

and souls in a state of becoming

For the light has changed

            and the ground is ploughed

 
For the spring...

                and shadows are in retreat

That which slumbered now awakes

and rises with the season
